Noise: Lanetin Sesi, gizemli bir şekilde kaybolan kız kardeşini bulmaya çalışan işitme engelli bir kadının hikayesini konu ediyor. İşitme engelli Ju-young, küçük kız kardeşi Ju-hee’nin yeni taşındığı apartman dairesinden hiçbir iz bırakmadan kaybolduğunu öğrenince, gerçeği ortaya çıkarmak için binaya gider. Ancak Ju-young’un orada bulduğu şey, yalnızca bir boşluk değil; korku dolu bir sessizliktir. Apartman sakinlerine Ju-hee’yi sorduğunda aldığı yanıtlar tekinsizdir; herkes gürültüden şikayetçidir ve delice bir sessizlik arzusu içindedir. Ne var ki geceleri bastıran uğursuz bir ses, o sessizliği paramparça etmektedir. Ju-young araştırmasını derinleştirdikçe, kardeşinin kayboluşunun tesadüf olmadığını fark eder.
